The structure of the tarot deck
Major Arcana · 22 cards
From The Fool to The World, the Major Arcana traces the soul's journey through life's great archetypes — beginnings, love, choice, upheaval, wisdom, and rebirth. These cards speak to the largest forces at work in your life.
Minor Arcana · 56 cards
Four suits of fourteen: Wands (fire, passion), Cups (water, emotion), Swords (air, thought), Pentacles (earth, matter). Each carries the everyday texture of your situation — what's shifting, what's being felt, what's being built.
Upright vs. reversed
Every card in tarot has two faces. Upright, a card expresses its energy outwardly — fully, freely, in the world. Reversed, that same energy turns inward, is blocked, or appears in shadow. Neither is "good" or "bad"; they are different rooms of the same house. Every card in our 78-card library includes both meanings side by side.
